About the Presentation:
The web is constantly changing - mutating from the app development framework of the moment to this week's social media sensation. How do you keep up and how do you get your business ready for what's here now and what comes next? In a whirlwind tour on the state of the web and web development today, we'll go over what you should be thinking about in your web presence and how to move forward in an ever-changing landscape. And, of course, we'll be there to answer your questions about what's happening in the web development world and where we see things heading.
About the Speaker:
Kevin Lawver has been a web developer for a long time. He spent 13 years at AOL building huge profitable web things, 4 years of that time in the W3C working on the versions of CSS and HTML that are just now starting to change how we build web apps. He's built web apps large, small and everywhere in between. Kevin loves the web and web development and will be there to answer your burning web development questions.
After moving to Savannah, Kevin has been working for Music Intelligence Solutions, as CTO and interim CEO. Today he is working for Rails Machine helping customers scale their apps.

ATDC Savannah & The Creative Coast
The Advanced Technology Development Center (ATDC) is a startup accelerator that helps Georgia technology entrepreneurs launch and build successful companies. Founded in 1980, ATDC has helped create millions of dollars in tax revenues by graduating more than 140 companies, which together have raised more than 1.6 billion dollars in outside financing. ATDC has provided business incubation and acceleration services to thousands of Georgia entrepreneurs.
In 2010 ATDC expanded its mission to serve more technology companies along multiple growth paths and at all stages of development. ATDC has opened its membership to all technology entrepreneurs in Georgia, from those at the earliest conception stage to the well-established, venture-fundable companies.
ATDC is part of the Enterprise Innovation Institute (EI2) at Georgia Tech, which helps Georgia enterprises improve their competitiveness through the application of science, technology and innovation. ATDC currently has three facilities; two at Georgia Tech's main campus in Atlanta, and one at Georgia Tech's satellite campus in Savannah.
The Creative Coast is a non-profit organization supported by The City of Savannah and SEDA. We exist to nurture the members of our community engaged in creative or innovative endeavors and to cultivate an environment in which they can thrive.
